A man sought by police in the burglary of Love My Pets has turned himself in.

Charles Elton Fayard, 27, went to the Ocean Springs Police Department on Friday.

He and Nichole Ann Anderson each face a commercial burglary charge in the July 23 break-in.

Both were identified through surveillance footage during the early-morning burglary at the pet grooming shop, police Capt. William Jackson said.

Investigators believe they stole cash out of the shop’s cash register, he said.

Fayard was booked at the Ocean Springs Jail. His bond was set at $25,000. Police arrested Anderson, 28, last week. Her bond also was set at $25,000.

An investigation revealed someone had forced open the shop’s back door, Jackson said.

Police announced Anderson’s arrest last week and announced Fayard was wanted on an arrest warrant...........
