  • What do you do in this case?

Since I have some staff this isn't a problem, but this does happen to me and it would be a challenge for one person shops.

You have a customer scheduled with 2 pets at 2PM and 3PM another customer with 2 pets, and they always book together and one brings all the pets. I have this happen with up to 6 dogs at one drop off. If you work alone, would you allow it?

Yes, I do it quite a bit.
Ain't always easy to stand up for what is right.

If they were regulars, I'd allow it even without help, but it would probably be an earlier than 2PM appointment, depending on the breeds. I don't like to stay past 7:30 if I can help it. I also wouldn't kill myself if they were all spoos or matted or huskies or fat goldens.

Yes, if they come in the morning. In fact, I would love to have 6 dogs dropped off by one person so I have whole day of grooming and not dealing with 6 different customers!

I do as well, but the appts are earlier in the day or early afternoon. I typically take one or if it's a two dog family at a time, but there are people that need to drop off earlier than their appt. It's not a problem for me and I can work with less interruption.

I would welcome it......then you are not disturbed with another drop-off and can work straight thru.

Happy having multi dogs at once

Yes, I used to allow it when I had a shop, but it would have been earlier drop off for me. And because I usually got two dogs out every 1.5 hours they would have to understand the wait would be longer.

I would accommodate the customers too.
