Success advertising on Yelp?

I've gotten several clients via Yelp lately and am contemplating advertising with them. I'm aware of the drawbacks as far as bad reviews and such but people are reviewing me either way. The question is will people click and call. What's your experience if you've paid for advertising with them?

I know where I worked she did and stopped. Wish I could say why, but I think the cost didn't give the local results she wanted.

I know someone that tried and didn't get what she thought was worth it. Spending time watching your ratings seem best bet.
