He's a redbone coonhound. Not papered, but there is working/showing in his blood. Both his parents are from Irons, Michigan. More specifically from Ironwood Kennels.

Yup that's the intention. But I will never own another breed of dog other than the Redbones. They have my heart. They are smart, loyal, and very protective.

Oh he is gorgeous! I was fostering a plot x redbone puppy this summer - he was a great pup. I just love a nice hound.
