Moms - help me with sizing.

I have a 10 year old niece who wears a girls size 12.
I want to surprise her with a dachsund hoodie from Lili Chin,
But I don't know if I should buy an adults size Small or Xtra Small.

Jolie / in case you may still need some guidance----
Check the website & reviews to see if sizes run true or small / large
Then , is the child in question running large or small to size ( starting to develop or not)
Lastly- do want immediate fit or a grow into size.

Answer those points and then probably go with adult small. Unless the parent is a tiny person the daughter will grow into the fl very quickly

I'd go for the small. Even if it's a bit big now, it won't be for long.

Small. The only thing would be length. I bought my daughter a small shirt to make Halloween costume out of and it was to her knees.
