I'd do Pat's colors too, since they are in the playoffs. Don't be sad, though, I am a Packers fan, and they didnt make it either!!

        KOOLAID!

use kool aid. blue kool aid and yellow kool aid will work. all you do is mix as many packets together that make up the shade you need and just add water to it. then pour on the dog and let it sit and then just lightly blow dry them. make sure you wash them first though. you need to wet them down. i tried dying my dog a dark purple with koolaid but since hes a white dog i guess the 30 packets didnt work. he ended up a very light purple. he is a 70 lb dalmatian/pointer mix though...so his hair wasnt really absorbing the coloring either. or you can use manic panic hairdye...but im not really comfortable with using human hairdye on animals but thats just me.

The quick and easy way is Blow Pens.. You can also use sidewalk chalk but only use crayola.. The cheap stuff does work right.. Kool aid is messy.. Blow pens are easy and no mess.. Thats what was used on my dog for the Today Show!

Use blo pens. They are less messy than kool aid.

Blow pens are quick and easy for smaller areas. Or, the crayola sidewalk chalk. Kool aid is kinda messy...that's what Jager ,in my avatar, was colored with (i used grape kool aid, but it came out pink)

                  coloring

where do you find these blow pens at? can you use an air gun and air brush them? if so, what do you use to do it with? this is the coolest thing ever..how do you keep from getn it in their eyes? I keep seeing a commercial with blue and pink poodles, looks like they've been dipped!

You can get blow pens at craft stores..Michaels, AC Moore etc. I know someone was saying (cant remember who now) that you can get a foot pedal thing that you can hook up to the blow pens and use it like an air brush set.
Hubby bought a cheap air set that he uses to paint computer cases. I have thought about throwing some kool aid or food coloring in it and seeing how it worked on my dog

                        Purple Kool Aid

Kool Aid is safe and very user friendly. We dyed a dog red white and Blue for a family member during the forth of july. It was really easy and a lot of fun.

**As a Baltimore Native may I suggest using Purple for the RAVENS!!!!!!

I can't wait to try out blow pens...

...but rainingcats&dogs, why not do the colors of YOUR team on one side of your dog and your husband's team on the other?

I've been experimenting with the blo pens, but on my white std, I think I'd pass out if I tried to do the whole dog in them. What do you coloring pros use for the all over color, or at least large patches of color?

For a large area I'd go with Kool Aod just eep in mind it takes quite some time to get it gone.It fades a bit with each wash but it really needs to grow out. For the MoHawk you can try Blow pens or you can applydye with a tint brush which gives you more control however I do suggest you either snood his ears or use vet wrap to tie them up to prevent him from shaking and getting yellow dye in them while you're working on him.
