  • Dog Foods

I think since we have a lot of new groomers on board we might want to repeat things like dog food, Shampoos etc.

after tons of research we switched all of our dog to solid gold. It has really helped with the runny eye, dry itching skin and my dogs love it

    What to do

The vet just switched my yorkies to Hills t/d. It's actually a dental food, which can't hurt with yorkies, but it's large enough that they can't just swallow it. My male is really bad for just swallowing food, and he's gained weight at such an alarming rate, that he's 3lbs over weight. He has a LP, and took a tumble down the stairs which worsened it, so he NEEDS to lose weight right now.

I hear solid gold is the best. My dogs are doing great on Bil Jac, but I have been thinking about switching them to Solid Gold. I have abot 6 clients that I have convinced to switch to Solid Gold and their dogs are doing amazing....No more skin problems of allergies.

I currently feed two different foods - Eagle Pack holistic and Blue Buffalo (when I can't get the Eagle pack). My dogs seem to do extremely well on it, and my one dog with skin issues has really done well.

I had mine on Eukanueba originally then after reading this board switched to solid gold. They all gained a lot of weight on that and my one chihuahua urinary crystals went though the roof. Now they are on Canidea and everyone is doing really well on it.

One of my customers said she was switching her dog onto some food that I've never heard of. It was something Wolf..Grey wolf, Timber wolf..something.
Any one ever heard of it?

                        Dog Foods

I've been feeding Nature's Variety - Prairie kibble to my standard poodles. I like it because (i) the meat is freeze dried instead of cooked and (ii) it comes in four meat varieties (Beef, Lamb, Chicken & Venison) which you don't have to gradually introduce each time. Both dogs have done really well on it. Nature's Variety also offers raw diet.

The breeder of my standard poodles is now using Evo for their show dogs ... they pointed out to me that Evo has a really high protein compared to other foods.

My boyfriend feeds his dog Nutro Max but I would feed my dogs Flint River Ranch or Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul.
