Update "One ugly shop and it's mine"

After posting my thoughts about my "Ugly" shop and getting your relpies I decided to listen to some of them and fix up my shop a little. If you don't or didn't see what my old shop looked like you can go back to that thread and view the pics.

Here is my new shop. Lots of help from daughter and hubby.

Ok, I figured out what I did, Pixie/Diane: I found that old thread so that people could see the difference in the old and the new. Posted it here. Then I went back to respond to how "I" actually liked your shop, but I responded in your OTHER Post about your new shop, lol.

So, I DID say nice things about your new fancy shop, I just posted it in the other thread, sorry!

Wow Diane! It hardly looks like the same place. I was trying to figure out everything you did - it looks like you did alot from the pics! Really nice - it doesn't look like a garage anymore. Oh and I love the doggy - I have the same one.

Spikey, you're forgiven. I found your other post and you did say nice things about my new improved shop. So I guess we are friends after all. LOL

Thanks everyone for your comments. Now I really do enjoy going to work in my new shop. But let me tell you I don't want to do it again, a lot of hard work and long hours.

This is Woody, he was one of the first dogs I did in the newly painted shop. He also had 2 other setters with him. My first day with three large setters, must be crazy.

Doesn't he look like he just enjoyed the day? He is a nice boy.

Pixie, what great changes! May I ask, how much it cost you for your fabulous changes? I think it might help others to plan for changing their shops around as well.

When I bought my second salon, I was shocked at the changes just from a coat of paint and some border. It cost me like $210 for everything and it looked like a new place.

Gracy, most of the paint was leftovers from my daughter when she painted her bedroom, so all we had to buy was one more gallon, about $15.00 and the lumber was about $45.00. So I guess for about $60.00 I got a nice spruce up for my shop.

I just think it was well worth it and wish I had done it a lot sooner. If I hadn't posted the first thread about my ugly shop and gotten the suggestions I had I probably would still be working out of the ugly shop. Thanks again to every one that made a suggestion.
