I have a pair of Laube Litening clippers that only lasted a month. It's kinda hard to explain what's wrong with them but I'll try. They'll be working fine then something (I guess the motor) in them will fall or shift or something then they don't work for a while but eventually they go back to normal. I have no money at all to get them fixed so I'm hoping there's someone on here that has some idea what's wrong and maybe has an idea on how to fix them myself. Grrrr I hate being broke!

Call Laube And Then Send Them For Repair.
I really want to know how you purchased them. Distributor or direct, or a catalog. I won't mention the catalog name unless Stephen says I can. Stephen?May I give the name? 5 year limited warranty on motor. Sounds like a motor problem.Call them, then show proof of time of purchase.

Call the place you got them from and they should have your invoice still since it has not been that long. You must of used a credit card so that might also work for proof if it is spelled out.
They problem could also be a cord or transformer problem since when you turn them one way they work then the other doesn't. 99% of the time it is not the motor on the laubes, it is a switch or cord connection. The clippers should be covered so call them and see. You will have to pay for the return shipping to you.

You also have to make sure your warranty card was mailed in. They may turn it around and mail it back to you if the card isnt on file.
On the first page of the Blade Guyz website there is a document that explains the Laube warranty service in detail. These parameters must be met or they wont do the warranty work no matter if its a week old or a year old.
Please read this document to make sure you have all the necessary paperwork to accompany the clipper to LAube.
Thanks
Jeff

I'm worried about my warranty as I purchased my clippers as I have been getting my equipment ready to start grooming school in June. I didn't open the boxes so I didn't know you had to send the warranty in within ten days. This doesn't seem fair as the warranty should be valid from the date they were purchased regardless as long as you have a valid receipt. I don't even think I got my stuff within ten days after they were paid for with backorders and shipping time.
