The class is done and over!!!!!

What a relief to have that done and out of the way. If you will remember a while back, almost 3 months, my daughter had asked me to do a class on pet care and grooming.

The girls seemed to enjoy it and they could answer the questions I asked them. They seemed pretty knowledgeable about pet care.

I showed them the pelt that I had barrowed from Tammy (Spike) and thought that was just amazing. They couldn't believe that it had actually been on a dog at one time. They figured the dog came out with very little hair.

I had Maggy (St. Poo) and Panda (Pom) with me. My daughter brought her little Yorkie, Rascal, that I had groomed last week. The girls didn't get to see any of the dogs until the discussion was over. I let each dog out, one at a time, Panda being first, Rascal was next and then to finish it off I let Maggy out. The girls seemed to enjoy all of them and thought Maggy was one strange looking dog.

As the class finished I asked the girls if any of them would like bows or bandanas to take with them and if they would like a little spritz of doggie cologne. They all wanted it and thought that was it fun. They really like the smell of the cologne.

How cute is that Diane (love, love, love those pics)!! What a sweet thing you did by doing that class. I'm sure most of those girls (if not all) will remember that day for a very long time. I know I would of! You did so good...bows, bandana's and cologne! Great job!!!! Thanks for sharing those pics.

Diane, that looks like one of the church classrooms (because of the folding dividers). Did you take them in the church?!! ROFL, I've never seen that and I always wondered if we could do that!!

What a darling group of girls, they looks pretty happy about the whole thing. you can barely see Maggie in there, but I see her.

By the way, love that cute "do." Reminded me of a grenade, lol. I don't have the patience!

No, mustluvdogs, I am NOT in the pic. I make sure I'm not in pictures. lol The girls just come in all different sizes. I think most of these girls where between 8-10 yrs old.

Sheliabgroomer, my daughter is the teacher, not shown,(she is actually taking the pic and I'm out of camera holding the leash that is attached to Maggy). My granddaughter is the first on the far left.

The girls DID love the bows, bandanas and the doggie cologne. It was fun but I'm sure glad it's over.

If you are talking about the little girl in the khaki shirt she looks a LOT like my daughter but younger, in fact Katie has that exact shirt that I got her for X-mas. I did a double take when I first looked at her....lol....wondered how my Katie got into cyberspace!
