  • nail polish creative removal

I was requested to not put on nail polish this time for a regular every 3 week groomed dog. The owner was not home, but is sweet, but fastidious. I would bet she wished to not have nail polish due to the chipping and bits left on the nail. But I didn't have any polish remover with me, expecting to do the usual cover up with polish.

Hmm how would I get off the bits of color on her nails? I tried a flat edge, even the end of the stripping knife. Nope. Then I got the idea of the nail file. I filed the color off, filing flat along the nail. It worked very well. If you ever have that problem, there you go.
Money will buy you a pretty good dog but it won't buy the wag of it's tail.

        I love my dremmel.

I actually was going to buy polish remover pads yesterday for the first time. While making my order, they said they were on back order.

I love my dremmel too except I had a big fattie yesterday that I was doing back nails while he was sitting and his belly rolled onto the dremmel and rip goes the hair snap goes the teeth into my arm. Not my fault the dog is 70 + lbs over weight.
If your dog is fat, you are not getting enough exercise!

You might be able to use regular old nail poilish remover pads, but I have noticed that human nail polish remover doesn't work the best on dog polish.
