  • GH has come in handy

I posted a couple of days ago that I had gotten my GH and didn't think I would use it for a while. Well that isn't the case. I've use it on every dog that has come in and it has been very handy. The dogs haven't been bad or biters or anything like that, they've been good dogs. I was just so surprised at how much I WASN'T chasing them around on the table For the most part they just kind of stood there wondering what had happened. No more chasing made my day. It's a good thing, as Martha Stewart says.

      I got mine yesterday!!!

It is going to take some getting used to I think, but I do love it. I did my cocker spaniel yesterday as a trial run w/it. He tried to flip out on me but once he realized it wasnt going to work, he stood there pretty good. He didnt like it, and he made it clear still but he was calm. He hates getting his front feet done. I dont know what the issue is there. He used to be great about everything, but now he is growing up and I think he is trying to see what exactly he can get away with....nothing usually. Its just those cute cocker spaniel puppy eyes, they are so gosh darn cute!!!! But anyways, I have a tough little yorkie coming next week and we will see what happens w/that. The owners say he hates getting groomed, should be fun!!!

        Using is believing

Oh, I will NOT NOT NOT be without a GH EVER!!!!!!!!! I hummed and hawed about spending the money on it at first(before it was available in Canada), abut I'ld do it again in a heartbeat!!! I do a complete RED flag Golden that has bit the last groomer badly, and I feel comfortable with her when I use my GH.

I've decided that even if I can't get my employer to invest in one for the storefront salon, and one for the grooming van, I'm gonna take the plunge and buy it at Groom Classic next week. Once he sees how much easier it makes things for me in the van, I'm betting he'll be buying one for his table in the store, too....

Wow, the GH sounds so helpful! I'm so sick of chasing dogs around my table and having the nasty ones trying to bite me. Does anyone know if there's a website I can look at to find out more info and pricing?
            Thanks!

You bet your bottom dollar there is a website!!!!

That should help you with any info you need.

I used it again today and just can't believe the difference it is making. I've known about this thing for almost 3 years and just kept thinking I don't need one. I had groomed for 13 yrs with out it why get one now? I could kick myself for not getting one earlier.

Thank you Chuck for developing this wonder of wonders.

I can remember a few years back, right after I got my GH, and I was the only one singing it's praises. "Get a Groomer's Helper! You won't be sorry. It's amazing, the difference it makes!" I used to think everyone must think I work for Chuck or something. I didn't. I don't. I just really believed in this product with my whole heart. Still do.

Then Spikey got one, and she joined in. Then a couple more, and more, and more. In the last year or so, it's snowballed, lol.

I'm so happy that others have not only tried the GH, but recognize how valuable it is. How much safer you are. How much stress it relieves.

So I still say "GROOMER'S HELPER!" It won't solve all your problems. But some days it seems that way, lol.

I knew you'd like it, Diane! Oh, it is just wonderful to keep a dog still with, more than anything. The biters, too, but mostly the spinners/dancers for me. I do have a few biters. I'm so glad you are using it!

                    Almost 2 yrs with our

Won't groom with out it.It has paid for itself many times over in stitches and blood.Even rehabbed Godzilla the malteese with it.Now he can be groomed with no restraints but I dont trust that little monster to go through an entire grooming with out trying to bite. Before GH no one could groom him.He was thrown litterally from every establishment never even getting as far as to a cage or table with out biteing someone.Countless other monsters have improved greatly just because they know they can not behave that way now.Yesterdays bichon would not have been possible with out it.He has been abusively brushed by the owner so many times you cant get near him with anything to even show him you can groom him with out inflicting pain. After he gets over the normal freak out stage and realised it was not going to be a knock down drag out pain session he was pretty good except for the dryer.Never would have got that dog even started with out it.Still have to work on that dryer problem a little at a time.
Chucky made a good thing thanks GH.

                      I love my life!

Wow, how great is it to get up in the morning and have people thank you for helping them and knowing that there are thousands of pets who are not getting hurt, also.

I thank GOD everyday for giving me the chance to help. I believe that helping people and pets has actually made me healther and stronger. I am a "Lung Cancer Survivor" 13 years now.

It take a long time to get a product to the market. Even if it is a great product. We have only scratched the surface of the Grooming Industry. But with people like you all how can I miss. Thank you for all of your kind words and endorsements. I do not thank you enough. Happy Easter.

                      Chuck

I had a dog come in yesterday that loves to sit, lay, drop her head, you name it she ALWAYS did it. Well it was SUCH a nice groom. Her head stayed up, her butt stayed up and she was a delight to groom. My arm and shoulder don't ache as they use to when she came in before.

                        I think I'm in love.

Now if Chuck could just figure something out where it holds the dogs up from the front (those heavy cockers) so I don't have to do it when I'm shaving their tummies. That would really be great!!! Maybe the GH does that and I just don't know how it works yet!

No no no, before that Diane, we need a tub version of the groomers helper. That is the only area where I feel vulnerable. Dang dang dang, Chuck, you need to get on the stick and make a Groomers Helper---Tub Edition, LOL.
