Too excited not to share!

1 more sleep till Mary J's x-ray to let me know how many pups are in her tummy! Her due date is March 6th. I know we shouldn't count our chickens (or puppies) before they are all safely born and thriving,..but.. I have a strong feeling that my dream pup is in there. Whelping box is ready! First aid ,and whelping kit, ready! direct line to vet ready! She is very big,and has gained 6 pounds,not fat either,so I have to be prepared for a big litter I guess. I will update tomorrow after I get back fromDr. In only have 2 girls names picked out,lots of boy names. Zenyatta,or K.J. if there are 2 girls. If there are more than 2 girls maybe you guys can help me with names?

I was such a freak when Breeze had her pups last Sept. that I bought one of those baby monitor cameras so I could watch them the first few nights to make sure no one got separated or rolled on. (It was that, or me sleeping in the whelping box w/ the family.) The "first few nights" turned into the entire 5 weeks....it was really fun to be able to wake up at 5 am and watch them play, torture their mother, dump food and water, etc.

If I ever have another litter....I'd prolly invest in one of those monitor cameras where you can actually tape as well.

I have her whelping box in our bedroom,or i would get a baby cam too. My friend Pauline, used to keep her toy litter,whelping box,mom babies and all right in the bed with her the first week or so,so she could attend any squeeks or sqwaks that didn't sound right LOL. It was cute!

hmmmm....I'm gonna guess 5 puppies. I don't really have any money right now, due to the recent presence of blizzards leading to the absence of clients...but I am willing to bet the freezer-burnt box of CornDogs I found allll the way in the bottom of the freezer today...if you are a betting woman?

I don't have any money, either, but I SEE your corn dogs and RAISE you a box of frozen store brand fish sticks from 2007 that have been defrosted a couple of times while still in the freezer. I think there are 6 pups and I'm SO sure of it if I lose I will ALSO pay you a package of Malt-o-Meal brand "Apples & Cinnamon" instant oatmeal--big bowl sized.

OK I raise you a box of Boca Bugers from Trader Joes with a slight case of freezer burn, not expired and still edible - 9 puppies!

Holy freezer burned fish heads Wet Noze! As attractive as your Boca Burgers sound I sure hope you lose. Nothing personal,its just that 9 puppies at once sounds like AAARRRRGGHH. I have only limited experience breeding a couple of toy litters,and 3 was the most I've had to care for at once. If theres 9 I'm mailing a few down your way! LOL

I'm a betting woman all right, but very conflicted,as some of these freezer burned offerings sound pretty good,and everyone knows a little brown on guacamole is just fine(as long as there is no fuzzy stuff growing on it)If you win,we could celebrate by feasting on the instant oatmeal,with some maple syrup,and cream in it. Yummo LOL

This is taken at 7 1/2 weeks preggers. I'm going to go and practise my new favorite hobby of holding her upside down,rubbing her tummy,and feeling the little kicks. So fun!

Cath...I may have to adjust my guess. How many times did you have to re-size the photo to get all of her to fit? (It's still in Customs right now) I may use that information if I decide not to go w/ 5. I just feel like 5's the number tho.
If Wet Nose loses...which I am quite sure she will, can we mail all our crp to her and be rid of it?

Yes! I heard a rumour that Wet Noze thinks freezer burned fish sticks,fuzzy guacamole,and the like are good for you! But I still want the instant oatmeal,I love that stuff. But not as much as BEETS LOL

I only say 9 because the litter my poo came from, she had a DOZEN!!!!!! If you have a few extra pups, do mail them. Just overnight pleeze.

Your pooodle is such a gorgeous Momma. I'd love to rub that tummy!
