  • Lisa Leady cut off my dog's pee wick!!!

That may or may not have been a ploy for your attention. Heehee. Pasadena was fun. I have vowed to never buy another kind of scissor but Kenchii!

Seriously though, Lisa, you ROCK, pretty freakin hard. Brink looks absolutely incredible. I could not have had a better experience! Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO much for being so great! Pics will definitely be up by tomorrow at the latest if I can get my husband to hand over the camera!

      You got me.

Your ploy worked. I really wanted to see what a pee wick was. Is that the hair that sticks off the end of the "pp"?
It was great to see you Lisa, as well as Arrooh and Chuck. I am sure I met many more of you and didn't know it. I really wish we had had name tags! Hopefully for Intergroom.
Had a great time, IPG day-long session was terrific. Didn't expect so much educational content and the breed demos were great.
Jodi Murphy's seminars were also amazing. Learned a lot, and of course had to go buy 2 new pairs of thinners after I learned that all are not created equal. Can't wait to do some blending!

I promise, you are already forgiven. I knew you'd be looking for that title though, hahahaha! Dirty hairy, I'm glad you had a good time! 'Twas fun.

Oh yes, here are the pics:

I think the befores and afters will be fairly obvious. Oh, and there was this adorable Brussels Griffon that got tired of his owner standing and talking so he decided to take a nap right under the table! Sooooooo adorable.

I very much hope that link works. Lemme know if not.

HAHA!!! thank you keyray! Brink asked me to cut it off for him. He was embarrassed by it! Seriously I am sorry, I never leave them on the dogs and when I saw it I didn't even think! All I thought was Eww that is going to get goupy if I don't get rid of that.

Sort of. Dogs don't actually have hair on their "pp", and I can't think of any animal that does. But they do have hair on their sheath, and if you leave a little lock of it, it will direct the urine flow down instead of in the direction of the dog's legs/feet. It's also called a pee string.

He doesn't need it anymore, he's stopped that particular lovely habit. I don't really like them either, he's the first dog I've ever left one on because I didn't want to keep having to clean off his front legs 4x's a day!!! So really, thanks. LOL.

I leave one on Whiz because the little bugger still lifts his leg, and manages to pee on himself. But it doesn't get goopy. I think that's because he's such a low rider that it gets wiped off in the grass while he's outside, LOL. At least that's what I tell myself when he gives me kissies.

I wish I could do something about Crosby peeing on himself...we tried the nasty 'pee-wick' nope never did any good, does not matter if he squats or lifts his leg he soaks himself and it stains

A belly band keeps them from lifting their leg or wetting in an area you don't want them to

I have seen a Happy Hoodie do double duty as a belly band.
