If you ever can you will be very benefited to catch a class with Kristen McGill Fulton teaching about cat grooming. I don't groom cats, but I've been maninuplated to before. I also wanted to see her present. She did a great job, all organized, worked with a wiggly not happy stranger to her cat and managed well. The picture is a bit fuzzy esp. after downsizing.

I'm having a great time and haven't been able to see it all yet. I watched Lisa Leady groom a schnauzer that Lucy in the Sky brought in. Lucy is a sweetheart, I'd met before. That soft haired terrier was groomed beautifully. Later she groomed Lucy in the Skys Terrier mix, hand stripping. I only saw the beautiful results.

Frankly if someone watches demos, talks to vendors about products and watchs the grooming competitions catching their techniques I don't know how some people run out of stuff to do there. Then go to a few classes and poof the shows over.

      I still won't do cats

but again sometimes I get pushed and oh well do one. I will feel safer thanks to your presentation. It's mostly, as I said, I don't speak cat. I speak dog. Dog and I connect.

So funny, I put the picture on Facebook and get non-groomer stuff about why would anybody shave a cat? I explained allergies and mats especially elderly cat mats, but I sure didn't expect controversy.

I'll be seeing you soon Gracy Rose.

Gracy...thanks so much for being so sweet and nice! I didn't get to "pick" as much cuz it seemed you were pretty busy and I didn't want to bug you. So sorry I'm lame and possibly slightly wasted your time. You are seriously the biggest sweetheart though! It was nice to meet you.

Trust me I can assure you Gracie didn't think you were lame. She's my boss and trust me I've hit her with some of the weirdest and dumbest questions. I'm glad you seminar went great Kristin. I'm glad to have you home though! Yes, I am selfish!

                    Awesome!

I attended 3 without even knowing she was the speaker, I chose by subject only. Let me tell you how wonderful they were and how happy I was to see that she would be teaching. Our Gracyrose is a fantastic speaker. I have been a big fan for years on the board just because of where she comes from when she gives advice about being a business owner and her attitude. This gal has a fantastic energy about her and as Amberstarr says, "cute as a button", but that is just a perk! These topics were full of great information and presented in a very good way. She was willing to take ALL the time necessary to make sure everyone got to ask questions and was very generous with her time and even offered to be contacted after the show to help her peers. I sure hope she will be back to the west coast again, and I will gladly travel to California again and again. When does this girl eat or sleep, I would like to know???

I agree with everything PAWS said about Kristin. She knows how I feel about her.

I'm so disappointed I didn't' get to meet you PAWS and arrooh. I did get to meet lucy in the sky. That was fun. I got to meet the canine Lucy. What a cutie she is!

I thought it was a great show. I was there on Saturday and the day was jammed packed. I hope I can make it back next year.

                        Wet Noze

luckily I got to meet you a couple of years ago. Speaking of cute as a button. I am so glad I got to see our energy gal in action. I would believe Gracy Rose either has been a toastmaster, took speaking in collage or just studied how to do it because she is one of the most organized, stick to the subject, informative speakers I've ever seen.

Wetnose, I am pretty darned sure I saw you in passing in your cute little denim jacket, but I didn't think to chase you down, LOL! My brain was mush all weekend with the packing of new information and making the most of my shopping money! I didn't even think of putting my PG.com name on my name tag...silly me.
