Found a new method to grooming the TK on poodles and thought I'd share.

    Oh Wow what a technique.

Seen a few different ways of doing a tk but never with a brush and fingers. She sure picks her scissors up off the hair alot.

Don't think I'll be doing it her way.

I'm quite surprised it looked as good as it did doing it that way, lol. For a pet owner really not bad, but the thing I don't understand is why she would give her cocker ears...? And I would love to introduce her to...a comb. I couldn't imagine doing a poodle TK with a slicker brush.

that is really different... I can't believe she didn't use a comb, I felt like I should pass her one.

yeah, just looking at her using those shears made my hand hurt, way too tight and all the way through! I realize she isn't a pro, but yikes. And really, why explain that the dog needs to be clean and all, then proceed to use a dirty dog as a demo?

That gal looks familiar....I don't forget a face and I am just sure I have seen her somewhere....
It just might have been in one of my nightmares....
just teasing- but gosh, seriously- I sure was doing my TKs the wrong way, this is so much easier!

Hannah and I were cringing every time she would scissor!

I actually shape my topknots the same way but no way do I follow anything else that she does.

Made my hands ache with the way she was holding her scissors. I'm guessing it's there to help owners groom their own dogs, so it could be worse. Hedge clippers might go faster though.
