When I get off work the first thing I do is get out of my work clothes and put on some house clothes or PJs. I don't want to be bothered for about 30 min. (my fiance has a habit of wanting to hug and kiss on me, talk to me and what not right when I get off work...it drives me nuts) Then I just want to sit in my recliner with my laptop and remote control. I usually have at least 2 dogs in my lap, sometimes 3. After a while I cook some dinner and eat, then I'm right back to my recliner til I go to bed.

Monday nights after work, I change out of my itchy clothes and drive 45 minutes (one way)to rally training classes which last on hour. But the satisfaction of playing with my dogs makes it a very relaxing, de-stressing activity. Other days of the week, I finish work, shower, get comfy clothes on, make dinner and then crash in front of t.v. with my laptop. And two tervs with their big ol' heads resting on my feet.

Lots of times I fall alseep with my kids as I am tucking them into bed. most of the time I am still in my smock and pants untill after dinner. My kids are starting to think that hair is just another condiment around here! LOL
Going out for 'fun' is too much work!

Ah, my parents are in Maryland and they are snowed in at the moment. I love the snow, but dang it can really be a pain.

Your client doesn't know how hard this work is. We all agree the sofa, PJ's, and Hot Chocolate are all we need at the end of our day. Now if i can get the foot rub in.

Who wants to "go out" when you can order in a pizza or pick up a bucket of chicken & biscuits on the way home, take a nice hot shower and put your jammies on, then snuggle on the couch in a big cozy quilt with your DH and all your dogs and everyone share a big bowl of popcorn and watch TV together. Going out is sooooo overrated....I guess I am just a homebody, but it works for me. I kind of got over the need to "go out" in my 20's & 30's. These days, my idea of going out is going to Outback for dinner then stopping by Walmart or BJ's to pick up groceries and house stuff.

I hear you, afterwork the last thing I want to do is get dressed to go out. My sweats and hoodies call me after I shower all the hair off. My couch with my 2 chis and possibly a cat or two at or on my head is all i need. Specially now that its cold and snowy. No sir, staying in until it warms up thanks
