    Love it so far.

I used the exact same pale blue and white them in my shop, 'cept my blue it a tad lighter. I imagined Cape Cod and tried to keep that fresh look with t he ocean blues and whites.

Can't wait to see your finished shots.

My original shop in blue. The color was called Cancun Blue. My husband and I met in Cancun so we thought it was the perfect color. So relaxing! :-)

                  Tub Problems

                  Greetings,

Love the way your new shop is shaping up! Can't wait to see the finished product. Remember to get that 1st dollar you make posted on the wall with your business license. Funny, but its a nice little thing to keep in the back of your mind as you're building out. It helps to think about that coming 1st day when the going gets a little tough.

Hey, we noticed that your tub appears to be from "PE". If that is so, then get prepared to fix the multiple leaks that will occur while in use, and the rust problem that will happen within days of use! Yes rust and leaks, and yes within days of use. The rust starts at the rim of the drain, and the leaks occur immediately. This is even with their "Special Metal Bonded Treated Coating" and "Magic Sealant". There are two other grooming shops in my area that warned me about my new PE tub, but we just thought it was "their" unique problem. That was until the rust and leaks started right on schedule.

The wonderful "customer oriented" people at "PE" will tell you that this is the first time they have ever heard of this problem. When they do, just send me a private email and we will also supply the names and numbers of the other two shops who also called with the same "PE" tub, and also heard it was a "first time" problem.

If your tub is not from the "good folks" at PE, but still develops the same problems, just let us know, and we will tell you the all the hoops you need to jump through to get the problems "workable" and maybe even fixed.

BTW the PE "Warranty Program" consists of sending you another tube of the sealant that didn't work the first time. You can literally peel the stuff out with 2 fingers after it dries!

Wishing you better luck than we three have had with our "PE" tubs.

Thanks for the advice about the tub. My tub at my old shop is a PE tub. The powder coated one. It did rust & leak they sent me a new one. That one was damaged so they refunded my money. That tub rusted/ leaked again and I bought a new one from a friend for $100 bucks. I have had the best luck with that one. It has rust but it doesn't leak like the other ones did.
This time I got the $650 Stainless Steel tub. Lets see what happens this time. Trust me I know how to fight with PE I do it all the time. :-)
I wanted a Pet lift Tub but it would have eat up all my budget. Maybe when the Business Loans are paid I will get my Tub!
