This is an article that I received in a email.

"Be aware of HSUS.....they are using these ill-gotten gains to shut down our businesses"

Washington, DC – The Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) is calling on the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) to return all the funds it has raised under the pretense of “saving” animals in the wake of Haiti’s devastating…

Thank you for posting this. HSUS and PETA have a penchant for profiting off of media events. They know where the money is.

      Shocking!

How many other hidden agendas are they supporting or lying about? This is not just false advertising or misinformation with good intentions, this is downright cheating, stealing and God knows how many animals have been sold or killed off to get more money for them. I guess since they are a private not for profit organization, they are able to get away with this? I am very angry after reading this information. Thank you for posting this! I intend to research this fully.

          That's a shame.

I'm starting to hear more and more about people who are not donating simply because they're afraid their money isn't going to go where it's been promised. Yele Haiti, Wyclef Jean's non-profit that's raising money for Haiti Relief, is having trouble explaining their books, too.

It's a real shame. Thats why I'm really careful who I donate to. Mostly I donate locally because I personally know and see where its going.

I am one of them. I used to give money regularly to different organizations but stopped when several of them were outed for scamming people. I also got a bad taste from certain charities who pestered the **** out of me for more more more......even after I made it clear that I already gave my limit.

Now I will only donate directly for local issues or through my church for the different charities and missions that they do.

Personally I skip charities all together. Cash/donations go directly into the hand of the person or dog who needs it. It's the only way to be sure that 90%, 20%, or 60% of my donation isn't getting lost on advertising and salaries.

Worse yet, is the fact that many of these places are using your donation cash to fund anti-pet ownership laws all over the country. I am always amazed at the amount of groomers who promote these organizations on their sites; the very organizations who believe domestic dogs are slaves that must eventually be free to revert back to the wild. Direct quotes by their leaders supporting this information is well-published and easily available for anyone who looks it up. (HSUS, PETA)

The HSUS has been infiltrrated at the highest levels by PETA people. The HSUS has never done anything to help the anmal shelters int he USA. They prmote themselves totally in a way to makepeople think they are ocnnected to shelters and SPCA's but they have done this kind of thing a lot ont he past.
