  • Grooming Pictures

I realized I haven't ever posted grooming pictures and I just did a great rescue dog that I thought would be fun to share. She was extremely matted around her neck and back end so she got a modified dutch trim with a mink collar. Any suggestions etc would be most appreciated. I wish I had had more time to scissor her nicely but I had 5 more dogs to do!

      Good job!

Hopefully she will now get a home that treats her like a Princess.

What a beautiful face! Nice groom, just be sure you're cleaning up those poodle feet really good. I see a few stickies. I like to use a #30 on feet. But nice job otherwise. A great pic to have in your before and afters.

How pretty,, she looks like she is wearing a cashmere sweater,, all she needs is a string of pearls and a pretty pink bow! Poodle feet are hard for me,, someone talked about back brushing and using tiny scissors to get rid of the stickie outies,, I tried it and is a great help.

Thank you all for the kind words! I didn't see how many sticky-outies she had when I was at the rescue... now I might just have to go back to touch her up. It'd be a great excuse just to see her again lol. I need to move so I can foster... Thanks again for all the encouragement, I was a little nervous to put my grooming pictures up.

You're a brave soul! Keep taking those pictures! You'll notice so many things you didn't see while you were grooming.

She looks so pretty! I am sure she will get a home now after you cleaned her up so well. Maybe they could include one of your business cards with her adoption so if you don't adopt her you can see her and keep her well groomed.
