  • My new pet Piggy :) Need feedback?

Last week, I picked up my "Mico Pig" his name is Snooter. The pics attached is a few weeks younger. I will post more pics. soon. Would you take offense if you brought your dog into a grooming shop & there sat a pig?? He will get bigger. But i want him at work with me. But i do not want to chase clients away? Most people do not understand pigs.
He has a huge crate if there is any dogs that would be an issue. Feedback please?

I really don't know but I would find it amusing. My sister goes to a hair salon that the owner brings her pig to work everyday and they all think he's a cutie.

OMG what a cutie pie! I think I would want to go to your shop just to see the piggy! I could see a problem if you had a mud puddle in your shop for it or something silly like that but otherwise I imagine it would just be uptight people who would find something to growl about anyways lol. Congrats on the new addition

My dogs would probably want to eat it! Cute though. I saw a show with these pigs a while back( i think it was Oprah) , pretty expensive from what I remember, and they go in a litterbox.
What does a dog do on it's day off?

          You got to be kidding

I hate to see dogs running loose at a shp. YET, my dog goes to the shop. She does stay on her spot in the back. And she really is good about it. However the issue I have is WHY a drawf pig. Have we not screwed up the Tiny toys enough in the dog workd ?? And now pigs. Lets just dwarf the whole amimal world. Cute but NOT. Can we not think about the health of the creatures we re-create??
Sorry (or not) just a "prt" peave of mine.

Cute pig...much cutier than the wild ones we have to deal with at my house (yes I live in the boonies). I don't think it would be a problem as long as the pig is well behaved and there is an option (like your crate) for when a customer requests he be up. I'm with some of the others that I would find it amusing and kind of fun to see a little pig. I'm a lover of all creatures weird and small though!

              This is the real deal.

There is another place that sells them in USA I think?? Royal Dandies. I do not want to scare people with swine flu?

I remember at the dog resort I used to work for there was a pot belly pig that came in for boarding a few times a year and his name was pork chop LoL. He even got pamper time everyday and carrots fed to him through the gate...he didn't like people in his "bubble."

                  This little piggy went......

to the groomers. LOL How cute, I have a client who brings her little piggy in for a bath every now and them and I just love him. You might try asking some of your clients how they feel just to get an idea. I had clients take offense to a kitten I had at the shop so it's hard telling what people will think.

Good luck post more pic soon.

I used to board a pot bellied oig, it stayed in the grooming room, in a crate and no one minded. JUst train her to go to her crate, should be fun for everyone with a sense of humo! Pigs are very trainable. Whata cute bit o bacon!

He is so cute!! I have been trying to talk my husband into letting me have one. Not there yet. I think customers will love him. Cute name. I would be more worried about the pig getting swine flu from the customers.
