  • Opening New Shop again!

    Well I'm gonna try again......

I haven't been able to get on in a while but some of you may remember when I was opening inside the Vet Clinic and there was all these strange stipulations. Big shocker it didn't work out. They asked me to come get my stuff after a couple scheduling problems with clients, (Not my fault)

Anyway so we are trying again, I had no interest because of finacial reasons but we got a great oppurtunity handed to us. $500 month for the first 3 years then $600 next 2. 90 days free rent. and if we fail god forbid. We are only responsible for 90 days rent. The space is 1000, sqrft. It has 5 stations with plumbing(was previously a barber) It is on a busy road and hes gonna pay for the build out including a privacy fence area in back for the dogs to potty and he pays the water bill. I mean how could we pass this up?

We won't be able to get in till Mid March due to the zoning approval. Oh and our deposit is only $500.

I have no clue what to do with 1000, sqrft? Any adviice would be great.

WOW! That sounds good to me. With it on a busy street you should do good.
I am trying to get started out of our garage. Got any ideas for super cheap advertising?
I've been grooming for 14 years now but quit where I was working after 10 yrs in the same place (stupid of me) and now I need to get some income.
Good luck and I hope you all the sucsess.

I'm gonna try and get some pics in here. For some reason it isn't giving me the option to attach a file?

Getting some flyers made preferably color, and hanging them on evryones door in your neighbor hood, at the grocery stores, vet clinics etc. will bring in allot of people. I would discourage putting a $$$ coupon but instead just do free teeth brushing or something like that. Otherwise you will get allot of coupon hunters and not true loyal clients. IMAO.
Good luck! If you can get in good with your area Vet and his staff that is a great way to get clients. Tell him you will refer people to him as well. Good Luck!

That sound like a great deal. Make sure to have your attorney look over everything! Good Luck!
