  • A competition... ponderance

OK, this may seem crazy to some, but I've been wondering. Why do they only have competitions for dog grooming when so many of us do cats? There is more that you can do to a cat than just a lion trim or a b and b. I know it would probably take special steps to make such a thing possible. Like keeping us enclosed in a room where people can't mill around. My cat would be great at something like that, he loves getting groomed, as long as it's not IN the house. Plus I've seen some dyed cats that were fabulous, so why not a creative cat grooming category?

One of the drawbacks to grooming cats in competition is all the noise and distractions. LOTS of both can upset a normally docile kitty and cause problems.

Intergroom has done several in the past though. With good results.

Wow, I had no idea. That's great. If my cat Spook is better by then, meaning I can get his thyroid under control, I would enter him in a heartbeat. Does anyone have any pics of any of the past entrees? I've never seen them at the shows or in Groomer to Groomer.
