My boss wears open toed shoes all summer and I think she's crazy. SO many times she's gotten her foot stepped on by dogs and scratched them up. I wore sandals one day and stepped on an undercoat rake..that sucker stopped a centimeter from my foot!! It wouldn't have gotten even close if I'd been wearing my normal tennis shoes.
Plus I find that sandals don't give me the support I need if I wear them ALL day.

Along with the questionable support for your feet and ankles, I'd worry about the open heel. Ever get a hair splinter in the bottom of your foot? It's very painful! And I have, once or twice, had a dog bite at my foot. With that open heel design, you could get a nasty bite wound.

My boss wears sandals all summer, she seems comfortable in them. i guess it depends on your flooring and what you're comfortable in. I wear my chucks all year, for a bit at one store I couldn't cause they had white on them... But, everyone there wore crocs. I've almost killed myself in those things a number of times, either slipping, miss stepping down stairs or having a piece of fencing driven through the bottom of them (and yes my foot!) personally my feet sweat too much for plastic shoes

I agree with about everyone else...they look cute and I'd get a pair for other use, or maybe my home grooming, but I couldn't wear them at work! They have closed toe, but they don't have closed heel...knowing me I'd walk right out of them. LOL. Safety hazard-for klutzy me anyways-methinks.

I probably wouldn't use them to groom in since they are open toed and I'd drop something on my foot for sure. They are freakin adorable though!! I want a pair just to wear when I'm off the clock.

    Shoe Sharing

I just found these shoes and wanted to share them with you. Do you think they are appropriate for grooming in? I think they look pretty classy for being rubber and the price isn't too bad either!

American Made Shoes and Sandals · Two-year guarantee · Durable one-piece construction · Antimicrobial and waterproof for clean, fresh feet · Built-in massage beads based on principles of reflexology · Non-slip, non-marking · Wipe clean.

They can be found at : http://www.shoesthatloveyou.com

When you go to that site, click on the "Closed Toe" tab.

I am interested in your feedback on them.Thanks.
