Opened my shop 1 year ago. Tried Dessert Suds, Ryan, Espree and EZ groom. I promote "natural" shampoos and my hands are getting real dry from these? What does everyone recommend to buy. Time for more shampoo!

I have to say, Nature's Speciality was the best shampoo to my hands. I was using it last winter and my hands never dried out. The boss made me switch distributers, so now I can't get it. Currently using Espree, which I like, but it is definitely not as easy on the hands.

my boss at one of my jobs is SUPER sensitive to EVERYTHING. Like... no cleaning sprays only steam cleaning sort of allergic/reactive. She has had a reaction from touching a dog who was treated with flea drops. Anyways, at this salon we use nature's specialties and a lot of envirogroom shampoos. I like Envirogroom- it seems like when I work (as a bather) at this shop, my hands don't get gross/dry. At my other job (as a groomer- bathing less dogs per day) we use a lot of Groomer's Edge, and I notice it on my hands.

I agree the B3 is easy on the hands...and keeps coat static under control better than most as well.
I think it's NS that makes Hypo-Aloe-Genic....that one's pretty good but no where near as economical as B3.Often it's not what you say, but how you say it.

You know, this is all so subjective. What one person finds to be easy on the hands will dry out someone else's hands something awful.
For example, several people mentioned Nature's Specialties. Their shampoos are probably the worst ones I've tried. They stink (IMO), they don't clean all that well compared to others I've used, and they dry my hands out, and as a rule my hands never get that dry. One shop I worked at only used NS shampoos, and every time I had to bathe a dog I'd gag from the smell.
I'm sure the cleaning issue has something to do with local water supply. That might also be part of the dry hands problem, too. But you can't blame the smell on the local water. That smell came straight from the bottle.
