dogs available for competition

A friend of my groomer has two Porties, retired show dogs, that she wanted to offer to rent out for grooming competitions. She is located in CT and can drive to either Intergroom or the NEPGP or would need to have the dogs picked up if the show was further away. Of course she would want to feel comfortable with anyone who she rented a dog to . She isn't sure how to get the word out that she has these dogs available so if anyone has any ideas let me know. Personally I'm intersted in possibly having her come out and do a seminar on poodles and porties. I know she worked with Alan Waterman years ago and has done seminars in Sweden.
Anyway, anyone interested, looking, or have ideas of how to get the word out please let me know.

I wouldn't be interested in using the dogs for near competition, but I would be thrilled if I could be put in contact with and maybe work with her in learning how to groom them (who knows, then maybe I would want to compete with one of them). I'm in CT so it would be a great opportunity.

Mylady, for Intergroom she can go to their website and look for the link for contest dogs. I think there is a way to get them listed there.....not sure about the other shows but INtergroom charges for rentals and its a hefty fee.

Thanks everyone! Almost every show that I have rented a dog from a breeder has cost me $250. That seems to be the going rate, at least when I rented dogs for Hershey and Intergroom. I know the breeders I rented from paid others to keep the dogs in good condition, then of course travel expenses. I never thought it was a bad deal really!
