Since when is it okay in this industry to treat people like pawns??? When are commitments allowed to fall to the wayside without so much as a sorry??? I am just sick and tired of seeing people in this industry be so back stabbing and ruthless for what???? I pour my HEART AND SOUL into a place that does not belong to me WHY because I made a commitment when I accepted that job to put my all into it as if it were my own. And I am SICK and TIRED of watching these "traveling job seekers" come and go creating drama and turmoil in my happy home. There I needed to rant and rave and I apologize if anyone took this personally its not directed to anyone in paticular h**l I might not even hit the post button............... But then again I am feeling a little reckless................

Gosh KD, I hope you feel better after letting off a bit of steam. Maybe are you still feeling the stress of the pre-holiday rush, or the post holiday slow-down, or the intense cold? Or maybe it is just the realization that not everyone shares your work ethic.
It is a reality these days in all jobs, not everyone works at a job they love. Many folks work only to get a check and hopefully survive. Customer service is not what it once was, you will see this at most any business you visit. Perhaps it is the over-all stress in the world. Perhaps some people just don't give a hoot!
I have experienced the same issues at previous jobs, I understand your distress. Hopefully your employer appreciates you as well as the clients!

Oopsie!
Sorry for you aggravation. What you describe is most certainly not limited to this industry, though! Good people and bad people - you just have to get better at sorting them out and making sure you are protected in case you are dealing with the latter. No point pouring your heart and soul into something that others don't appreciate - been there, done that.

Amen, Girl...but
not just in this industry. Just this week, I had a client that is a therapist for the courts saying the same thing about her practice. Also, Drs, accountants, vets, you name it! WHen you care so much about your work, this happens. Please try to take this with a grain of salt and not let it ruin your day.

I'm so sorry. That is what can happen when you are an employee. You have little or no control so you have to put up with it. You have to develop a thick skin. Don't let yourself get sick over it. It won't solve anything. Best thing to do is tune the bad boys out, do your job and when you leave, disconnect. {HUG}www.gomobileandsucceed.com
