  • My website, a little less 'under construction'

Well, here's my grooming website after a few moments of boredom. I plan on adding an "about" section after I figure out how I'd like myself represented. I know some of you put up a photo of yourself. I'm very hesitant on that.

Have a gander at the village idiot's handy work.

Still working on my sister site, slow and steady.

It looks quite nice. The photo's (and grooming) are just lovely! I like the way you worded the opening page; very clear on what and how you will do the work as well as what is expected from the client.

    Good job.

      Looks good!

Very nice. Had to see your photos, of course. That shelter Poodle was a fantastic job on a totally unrecognizable "before" dog!! Wow!

If I had been in the Tri-Cities area, I would probably still be grooming in Tennessee, but alas! I was stuck in Pokeyville, an hour or more away from pretty well anywhere. So now I'm in Tampa, Florida. Not bad though - nicer winter weather than Tennessee!

Since you are a Terrier fan, may I ask you about the tail on Rosy - isn't that an awfully long dock for the breed? Or is it not docked?

Debbie, that's a really good question about Rosy and quite frankly, I didn't notice until you brought it up. It does look on the long side. The owner told me that originally Rosy was going to be kept by the breeder. Maybe a messed up tail dock stopped her? The tip of her tail looks and feels docked. Don't they curl more if they aren't docked? Hmm.

        Rosy, different angle.

And thanks about the poodle. She was so pitiful. And predictably, she perked right up afterward. The shelter posted photos of her with her new 'do on Petfinder. She was adopted not long after, bad teeth and mammary tumors included.

You have a Typo on your FAQ.

Under "how does your grooming work exactly?" with the answer portion, you have "I've it got covered."

I like how you worded your FAQ though, and if you have a clipper vac, you can use the tool that's there to handle all the dead coat for shedding breeds. Keeps everything nice and tidy.

                    .
Wow, thanks! No one has caught that, and I've read through it a million times. Shows you how our brains process words.

                    Fixing now.

I do have a clipper vac set up, but it's the Hanvey upgrade kit with a shop vac. I've seen attachments but I don't know what will work with that kit. I'll need to look into that if I get any big hair balls. Kinda missing the Great Pyrenees these days and the satisfaction of a clean one.

Today it worked for me! Site looks great and I really like your explanation about maintenance grooming and how important it is and all the benefits.

All your clips look great but the bichon looks awesome!

I think it looks really nice. Very clean and not too wordy. Great pics and straight to the point. Which web builder did you use, or do you have someone that did it? I have been meaning to do mine over for quite a while and need to get to it now.
What does a dog do on it's day off?

Very nice professional site - Good job!
I'm really just a little dog in a big dog's body (I really should cut down on those milk bones).
