  • The bright side of hurting my back...

..which I did, 2 weeks ago. I can't run my dogs, so it actually gave me the rare opportunity to take some really bad pictures of them running w/out me.

Breeze is behind the pure white Sibe and Luna is running next to Breeze.

Still thawing out...as it was ungawdly cold and windy at 7:20 this morning.

            Wow!

That must be fun. We have nothing like that here in FL. Our southern sibes would run in fear from something like that.

              Those

are cool pictures - in both meanings. Hope your back feels better though.
Money will buy you a pretty good dog but it won't buy the wag of it's tail.

                Oh gosh!

What did you do?? So sorry about the back. Is it getting better??

The dogs look lovely. Glad you could get out and take pics. It's really cold here too - maybe down to freezing for a couple of nights. (Sorry - couldn't resist, lol.)

Back was not injured doing anything exciting...or even anything that generated income, damnit.
I think shoveling the 2 foot blizzard started it...and running the dogs 2 days later finished it off. It gets realllly bumpy when you run the rig on frozen ground thru deep ruts. Something my 50 yr. old back is quite unforgiving about.

It's getting better...just very slowly. [Sibes extending candy dish full of Advil Liqui-Gels...care for one?]

Really enjoyed the pics of the dogs. Haven't seen Sibes doing what they are supposed to do for years.

Thanks for offering up your candy dish, as you know I have my own plus extra "candies" that really kill the pain.

                        Get better.

You said shoveling two feet of snow, but in those pics of your dogs running, where's the snow? lol Sorry to hear you have injured your back. We have plenty of snow up here and the cold to help keep it around. This morning -20 below and only warmed up to -16 below.
Next time, pay the neighbor kid to shovel for you, saves your back. Oh yeah, I forgot, neighbor kids don't go around much anymore making money to shovel you out or mow your yard.

Hope your back's back soon..... then get a big shovel and hook those dogs up to it; stand on the top part of the shovel..... (or buy, beg, borrow or steal a snowblower.)

Not to be a copy cat, Jedd...but those are the exact words I thought of when I looked at these pics!! Awww...I love sibes!! I swear if I ever get down to a manageable number (1 or 2!) I would love to get a full sibe...Winston's great, but I love the beautiful full breds!

Hey, 4 sibes...my big ones are getting fat now that they are stuck in this fenced yard instead of running our acreage in Texas...can they come and help pull the sled?? They really need some exercise!! lol
