  • Colloidal oatmeal--again:

I found a 3# reclosable bag @ Walmart for less than $5. The Brand is Dr. Teal's. They also have Epsom salts with real lavender essential oil. Mmm! Yummy! Same price.

Is this for you or for dogs? I wouldn't use the lavander epsome salts on dogs. I bought a box of them thinking it might be nice but the kind that I got were waaaaay to strong smelling for me OR the dogs. They didn't have real essential oil in them though, they had that fakey lavander sent that remindes me of an old lady's sachet.

The salts are for me. Lavender (REAL lavender-not the fake **** that smells like koolaid or kids cereal) is one of my vices. I am very picky about things with lavender in them. Dr. Teal's does not come in a box. It comes in a heavy weight ziploc bag.

There was a thread or 3 on here earlier asking where to get colloidal oatmeal and I think someone suggested buying it from Laube' for a ridiculously high rate of 8 ounces for $10 plus shipping. When I found 3#/$5-no shipping I posted it.

I totally get what you are saying about the fakey lavander smell......almost nothing worse in my book. I have a small bottle of pure essential lavander oil and it smells nothing like the commercial made stuff. Very clean and pleasant.

Thanks for the tip on the oatmeal.....I will have to check that out next time I brave the horrors of wallyworld....lol
