Ditto!! I have no time for rude & demanding people. Sounds like he fit into both categories...

Good for you! I don't know but it seems people are more crabby this year and expect everything for nothing. Glad you stood your ground!

ROFL... I hate to admit it but I love getting folks who come in with this attitude. Of course being trained & working in the field of counseling.. I have a thing for dealing with 'attitudes'. I get those who come in with 'the facial expression, the vocal infractions, the body language etc..' I look at the pet, I get overly sweet, almost to the point of needing a insulin shot to deal with it...LOL, then I look at the owners and immediately reply with something like...
" Oh my, I know you have been sooooo busy with house, family, job, etc.... I guess you didn't hear 'fluffy' telling you she needed grooming weeks ago... after all isnt your pet the center of your entire world?".. I laugh as though Im on their side.. understanding that their lives must be sooo busy they don't have time to breath... I empathize with them, let them know I understand just how important their precious pet is, then I slip in how I am sooooo sorry, we have been booked for the week before more holidays months before.
I let them rattle on and on and on, the steam in their tirade begins to lesson.. I offer the 'look' and they eventually schedule for a later date.

Wow, I really have no use for people that, not in my client list for sure! I think I would have asked him if he wanted to book for NEXT xmass since it is almost full already

For those of us who don't really respond well to being someone's doormat, well that isn't always possible. I would never walk into some business and demand anything, ever. I expect the same thing of my clients. Someone else may have those people.

RPS, I am not sure that is a bee I'd want to catch. I think I'd rather send it somewhere else to make their demands.

But otherwise, I agree with your statement.
