  • East Coast of the US (snow storm)

I hope everyone that was hit by the snowstorm in the East Coast is OK, I can't even imagine what this is doing for your business the week before Christmas. Be Safe

Oddly enough, that was my first conscious thought this morning: I wonder how the east coasters did overnight?

    You guys okay out there?

Well, here in MD we got about 2 feet of snow. I haven't had a whole Sat. off in a long time! I baked lots of Christmas goodies and had the fire going all day. I really enjoyed it. Today we're trying to get the vehicles out and the driveway plowed so the customers can get to my house tomorrow. I'm glad I left Wednesday really light so I can rebook!

i'm in ct and we got 4 inches. i nearly killed myself on sat, trying to get all my dogs done plus an extra one that was thrown in on a reschedule for today. got home at 3:30, collapsed in exhaustion, it didn't start snowing until late that evening. all forecasts had it coming in around noon. customers were shooing me out the door so i could get to the next call before the snow started. i felt like a marathon runner and people throwing drinks at me as i ran past. glad i wasn't in nj or even an hour south of me that got 26 inches.though bernie is besides herself with joy over the 2 feet of snow she got. she's probably outside right now making snow angels with her dogs.

I think Bernie should do a sled pic with her sibes in the snow. How great would that be? Or maybe a mini sled with the sibe pups!!!!!!!

I'm glad to hear you only got 4" Mary.

Like Briar...I got about 2 feet, except where it drifted...that ranged up to 5.

There was SO much snow...we couldn't even take the dogsleds out this am...that's the real bummer.

Here's a few pics of the "girls" in the snow. They had fun while I busted my arse shoveling.

            It sure is beautiful though!

I'm in CT too....about 1/2 east of workingchi. We got over 6 inches and the eastern part of the state got 20 inches! My family lives in MA 2 1/2 hours north of us and they didn't get a single snowflake. Absolutely crazy.

I want to see pics of the snow.

I KNOW it is true, but it seems like another planet to me. I'd love a crackling fire in the fireplace. I want to fly out and spend the Holidays with you guys.

                  In southern WV

Well, I got 2 feet of snow in my neck of the woods. Roads are clear but I will still probably lose at least half my clients tomorrow. I went to the shop to make sure there was enough parking and shoveled out the walkway. I took some pictures in front of my house.

Boxerfan...next year just put 2 teeny snowflakes on your porch...that way we'll only get 3 inches. I think it was those super-sized snowflakes that did "it"!

Well, actually they did call in the national guard. To give relief to stranded motorist and help clear roadways. I live near a major highway. My boxer wasn't as impressed with the snow as Sibes dogs were.

There area actually 3 snowflakes, one is in mid-turn. I spent too many hours on those darn things not to put them out. This is the first year for them though, maybe I did bring it on myself. You think it would work if I could cut out some dollar signs and hung them up at my grooming shop?
