Decorated our tree tonight

We have been trying to get a night together to decorate the tree,,finally got it finished! It was fun--very tall tree this year! The kids are trying to sit with the Cavaliers in the 2nd pic,,but that didn't work out well!

We did our tree on Thanksging weekend. I never have enough time after that point with all of the grooming and last minute shopping and wrapping, etc....

We no longer do a tree. Last tree we put up, my 2 boys (canine) thought it was an early Christmas present for them - an INDOOR potty tree! That was a real pisser (pardon the pun) Now we just do table top decor and wall stuff inside and big Christmas inflatables outside. But thats OK, a real tree always made my sinus' crazy. Strange - dog hair never bothers my sinus, but a real Christmas tree inside the house would stuff up my head something awful.

Very pretty.
My married daughter comes over with her kids and they decorate grandma and grandpa's tree. It took us a few days to be able to get them over. But it is done and everyone is happy. They also come back to help take it down. We started doing this a couple of years ago (I don't like to decorate the tree, I put it off as long as possible) and it has actually been a lot of fun. After the grandkids go home we usually have to move a few of the ornaments around. Could have as many as 4 ornaments on one branch!

Very pretty, makes me miss not having a little one around any more. I showed the dogs their stockings and they got all excited, but its not the same as having a small one waiting for the big night,,,,lol

a tree upside down? I've seen several now that are really stunning!

If I still had my huge house with the full balcony to the upper floor, something like that would be super! One of these days, I may just try something like that, well, yeah, artificial tree, Heehee.
