  • Dog Laugh Track calms down kennel

I just saw an interesting news clip about playing a soundtrack of dogs laughing to calm down a bunch of dogs. A Washington state rescue group in Spokane swears it is the greatest thing; just turn on the CD and in a few moments all the dogs in the kennel just got quiet, sat down and started wagging their tales. The info is at the website www.laughing-dog.org. Has anybody here had any real experience with this? It just sounds like a wonderful way to bring some harmony and world peace to the doggie waiting room.

I saw an episode on TV (can't think of the series name) that tried it in one of their dog areas. It did seem to work to relax the dogs.

I just played the quick sounds

over and over and my dogs came over to me. Their ears perked up.
