first thing in the morning place a carry kennel near the bed with a bit of food in it. tuna is a good food for attracting cats make sure you have it far enough away from the bed so you can shut the door before she notices you.

If it was a sweet kitty to begin with I would let it calm down and then attempt to extract her after.

My cats could care less about tuna, but would walk on water for yogurt.

                I was suppose ........

to get the kitty back to the shop for pick up today. Wasn't gonna happen, no how, no way. I called the owner and she met me here at my home and did the deed. Yikes .....

Sibes was hiding under her bed shaking.....

Good to know it's safe to come out.

The big question is...when in that particular predicament, when owner is going to be crawling UNDER your bed....do you vacuum first?

Hmmmm. That might have solved the problem, come to think of it. Especially if your Shop-Vac is as powerful as mine. Mine sucked up a whole tablecloth, decorations included, last night. In 2.4 seconds. Pretty amazing sight. There one second, gone in it's entirety the next.....

Sometimes it's good for the owner to see how unpleasant their pet can be. Less inclined to gripe too much about what it costs!

OohBernie.... I cannot recommend this 'BerniFied Technique' that would surly clog the filter and we all know what a PIA those smelly things are to clean. PLUS! The sound of a pissed off kitty in a shop vac coullld be paralytic. The acoustic amplitude properties of a shop-vac would create sound much like ...well, a Sibe riding a fright train with a groomer chasing it down ...hose in one hand shampoo in the other! Do not ask how I know this. But, yes, I would vacuum lol Kitties no like the vacuum monster, SO that being said I would have put a crate dead center the door way and blocked off all other possible escape routes. Turned on the vacuum and WAa LA! kitty runs for door and into crate! Oh Snap! Then I would do a little victory dance while declaring my victory over said evil wench. Sounds good on paper, anyone wanna give it a shot?

Are you sure you don't have my cat???

Nope here she is now. (LOL)

That's farther than you would have got with her. She tries to rip our eyes out just getting a flea collar on her or when she just doesn't want to be pet anymore she bites ya.

Maybe you'll get lucky and it will come out on it's own by then.

Set the carrier next to the bed right before they are due to retrieve kitty and with any luck it will climb in there to hide.

                            Parti .......

Client needed to have the cat deflead that day but worked till 6pm. So she asked if she could pick up the next day. I being the simpleminded person I am sometimes replied, "sure. no problem, i'll just bring her home to my house." Famous last words. Problem it was.

She came out from under my bed in the middle of the nite. So I transferred her creature comforts, food, litter and water to the bathroom where she stayed the remainder of the nite. Got up this morning and thought, "surely she will let me get her into the carrier now." NOPE! She was in the shower and the moment I went near her, the fangs and hisses woke up the household ........ next door household that is. I calmy called the customer and told her I prefer to keep my fingers, arms, eyes and all my other better parts and she would have to come by and reclaim her sweeeeeet kitty. Crisis avoided ..... barely .........
