  • PetQuest question, I'm afraid!

I heard last night on the News that Drawbridge Inn in KY might be closing down, that's were they have PetQuest. Please, Please tell me they will keep this show in this area, even if they have to find a different hotel. It's the only one I can get to easily!! I was listening to the News and hearing that story as I was going Nnnooooooo!!! LOL

Why not contact Barkleigh at (717) 691-3388 who sponsors it. I'm sure they will find another hotel around the area, since they drew a large crowd on the times that I attended. However, I hated the current site..........even though I have been there numerous times, I can NEVER find the FRONT DOOR !! Sounds silly, but I would walk around that complex until I found people walking with "stuff" and ask them how to get in !! There were numerous buildings backing the parking lot at odd angles, with no signage, only locked doors, all painted dark brown....... and parking was also very tricky, small, uneven, rolling lots.......I will be glad if they find another hotel.

Happy Finding the Front Door !!

You would probably get a better response if you address this question directly to Barkleigh. I agree, though, it would be sad to see it move very far away . . .

I will check with them, I hope they keep it in the area, but just move it to a different hotel and make it a bigger and better show ;-)

It was originally held in Lansing, Mi. Personally I wish they'd move it back there, for purely selfish reasons, LOL. My kids live just outside of Battle Creek. I can stay with them for free. And while I'm there I can eat at Rollo's Mancinos, which has the absolute best sub sandwiches I've ever eaten, anywhere.

I'm thinking if they go anywhere, it might be closer to Lexington to be near Nash.

I think Lexington would not be central enough even if it is near Nash. Cincinnati is ideal, Columbus would also be a great alternative.

Raffyroo, I hear you there is nothing this close around her of any kind. I hope it stays here as well. It takes me about an hour to get to this show.

Actually, it was originally in Akron, OH, then they changed the name and moved it to Lansing. I hope they don't close the hotel, because if they do, more than likely they will have to move it out of the area. It's really hard to find a location that is willing to put up with dog events, since so many people just don't care and let their dogs make a mess in the rooms, in the halls, and outside and don't clean up after them. Some people can be real pigs.
I personally hope this show could be moved to the Columbus area, but that's just my selfish wish so i don't have to travel.

I went one year to that Hotel and sid never again. IF they move it I will go back. That hotel was a nightmare and I was so sick and tired and hurting when I got home that I couldn't take it anymore.

Does Cinci still have their outrageous Pit Bull ban? If so, I won't be going there. Even though I don't own a bully anymore, and wouldn't be traveling with one if I did. It's the principle of the matter.

Huh...didn't know that since I don't live in Cinci. Had to look it up and this is the latest on it: http://stopbsl.com/2009/03/26/cincin...it-bull-rules/

I looked them up on the internet and if this is the correct inn, looks like they did some major remodeling the summer of 09. The first link is the website and the second link is the remodeling. I would not think they would close after the remodels/upgrades.
                            Hope this helps!

Well, the closest show to me is 6 HOURS away! It would be nice if they had something close to ME-maybe they should move it to Minneapolis, lol.
