  • Help!! Grooming Table Emergency!

To make a long story short, I ordered a grooming table and it never came, the company is refunding me the money (table discontinued and site still took orders for it), but I need a table asap as I have clients coming in regularly! Right now I am using an old coffee table and my back is killing me! Is there anyone out there that would be willing to sell me a table in Wisconsin? PM me if you have anything available. Thanks

PM Windy. She's in Wisconsin. I'm sure she could point you in the right direction. I bet she knows someone in your state that could help you out.

Temporarily, if you are working from Home, use the washer or dryer. They are a better height. If you have a cabinet over them put an eye hook for a loop and a rubber bath mat for traction.

I also have an adjustable table from Sam's that I paid $35 for that comes up high enough to groom on. PLUS it folds. If you are working in other peoples homes, you can also use their washer or dryer (unless its a frontloader of course). The table from Sam's is portable as well. Folds up flat and weighs very little.

I've got that. I carry it with me on my house calls. It supposedly holds 200#. I can't speak to that but, it'll hold a huge lab. The brand is "Lifetime". I put a rubber mat on it so the dog doesn't slip and slide.

Where are you in NC WI? Must be fairly close to Rhinelander? Drs. Foster & Smith have their pet supply company there. I'm not sure if they have the hydraulic tables, but they do have the "regular" grooming tables that would be a temporary help.

Everyone here had great suggestions, if you have a harbor freight store you can go and buy one of their hydraulic lift carts and easily convert that to a grooming table and it would be hydraulic. Last I saw they started at about $100.
