That canola oil is toxic to animals and humans and this is in my dog food. Is there any truth to this?

Have you tried extra light tasting olive oil? Thats what I use cause I also dont care for the taste of regular olive oil in cooking. I even use this in baked goods and it doesn't have a taste at all.
I also use grapeseed, safflower and flaxseed oils. They have a stronger taste than the extra light olive and take some getting used to. They are supposedly "healthy" oils so I use them on occasion, usually in salads.SheilaB from SC

Funny how those links you posted don't actually provide any links to credible sources for their statements (because most of their statements were gathered via fake urban myth emails or heard from friends of friends of friends - so they MUST be true, right?).
Snopes explains how the canola "scare" is blown outta proportion and that there is actually nothing wrong with the consumption of canola oil.
