  • 5/8 blade

What does everyone use this blade for?

Setting the pattern on Poodles, Wheatens and maybe some other breeds with similiar fur.

    no!

I NEVER use them... I use my SS Snap On combs instead. I don't like the way they clip.

pad mats, teeny poo feet, inside ears, some snc's are easier to get at the hair then imo.

Which 5/8 are you asking about. The long one I use on some dogs that I don't like snap-ons, on. Still have to go back and scissor but a little less I think. (although I hate my 3 i DO USE MY 5/8)

If you are asking about that stupid little "foot" blade, mine has collected dust for about 12 yrs. I just use a 30 or 40 instead I hate those little "manglers" I caught too many pads and webbing with those stupid blades.
If you sweat the small stuff, all you have is small soggy stuff.....

Sorry I meant the 5/8 body blade. I also tried the toe blade once and nicked everything I touched with it and threw it out.

Seems you need to do tons on scissoring after the 5/8 blade and was wondering if a s/o instead would cut your scissoring time.
