He has white spots on his fron legs just at the ankle above the pad. He had a weimer face too. Very light brown. Almost has that weimer shimmer to his coat. Hopefully it is just puppy coat

I don't really care. UGH. He is a barker. I can't stand barking dogs. My older lab has bitten him a couple of times already. She is doing a good job of keeping him in line. He did have an accident this morning. About 30 minutes after I had him out he had pooped and peed he poo on the floor. Other than that he kept his crate dry all nigh. Now we have to work on the biting. I took him for a run and he stayed at my side. Walking he need some work, but we will get there in a week or 2If your dog is fat, you are not getting enough exercise!

He is a cutie.
I feel for ya. I'm also going through this puppy thing. Soda is doing ok with the crate, she doesn't cry anymore when she is in it. But the housebreaking is coming along really slow. Most of that I guess is my fault, she stays outside all day and comes in at night to sleep. She really enjoys being outside so I don't feel too bad but hubby is having trouble figuring out why she isn't catching on to housebreaking. lol I finally told him last night that Soda is outside all day."There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face."

If he is not pure then He sure looks pure to me.
Dogchic, i am glad you brough up the age and jogging/running thing, Dont want to Be a "Newbie" and step on any bodies toes!
But I agree large breeds should not do any Jumping or strenuious running until at least 12 months.
Large breed pups should also not climb any stairs until between 4,5,or 6 months ( depending on how much you can carry up and down).

A new pup for Diamie!!!
Awwww Diamie - you gotta new pup!!! Geez so much to catch up on! He sure is cute...He kind of has that little live wire look in his eye. One of my girlfriends here has labs - they're into EVERYTHING. She says she'll never be able to have kids until she doesn't have these darn dogs anymore...funny.These dogs are SPOILED rotten though! Hopefully some of your lil' pups habits will be just that, a habit. Habits can be broken, it just takes time and work. You gotta good start with having an older dog to help break in the new one and teach him some manners. Good luck girl, just wanted to say CONGRATS on the new pup!!!

he looks like a choc. lab to me. just a thinner faced one than your other guy. some labs are thinner faced...some have that nice square muzzle and nicely shaped head (sorta like your other choc.). same with pitbulls...some are tall and leggy with a smaller head, others are short and stocky with a nice big blocky head and wide body. rotties are the same way...some have smaller heads and are gangly others are nice and square with a nice big head on them. dosnt mean they arent purebreds! more than likely its just not the greatest breeding in the world. thats all.
and i cannot see any shimmering coat like a weim has...but then again it might not have shown up in a picture.

His face looks like my chocolate. I think ours might be a Choc/Chessie mix because he gets a bit curlier when he's been bathed. Ours is pretty quiet though. He may bark at what he thinks he sees or hears, but it's usually just his imagination. He's very talkative though (not barking) when he really wants something (like someone's lap).

He looks like a full Lab to me (full of piss and vinegar....lol). I think he is beautiful, and puppy behavior aside I bet he will grow up to be as well behaved as your Sweet. It is hard to readjust to a puppy when you have gotten used to an older, calmer dog. Good luck and keep on disciplining...lol...he will catch on!SheilaB from SC
