  • TGIF!!!!!!!!

Thank the Lord I don't have many days like yesterday! The day started out normal and somewhere along the line - it went haywire....My good dryer just STOPPED when I was in the middle of a collie (still don't know what's wrong with it plus my other dryer sucks for the hairy coats) - Got my first returned check from a customer (and it was a BIG one)....Ugh! - And I got my first shop related call at home and it was 9:30pm!! When it rains it pours...Sorry, I just had to complain. Now this morn, I've had 2 cancellations for today, so I'm thinking....Geez I hope today won't be another Thursday! Thank goodness it's almost the weekend!!!!!!

    Bad luck comes in streaks

I can feel for you on this one...I always seem to have everything happen at once. Funny thing is you will look back on it and realize you made it through and it wasn't really that bad.

Like my doctor always says...."Things are never that bad that they can't get worse." That saying always helps me put things in perspective.

Here's hoping that today is a better day. Happy Friday!

Fridays are nice, except when you also work on Sat. :P

I finished my thursday all fine and dandy, but I've had a dog here at home which was (short story version) abandoned at our shop and we've been taking care of her over a year now. Just a lil white poodle/bishon.
Yesterday an elderly couple came in, saw her (Molly) and asked about her, I mentioned the story and that she was available FREE to a good home, She is supposed to come by today to pick her up, so lastnight I figured a final, good grooming to help in thier dicision to take her.
I leaned across my table and for some reason, my back just freaked-out like muscle spasms or pinched nerves.. So now I get to spend they day trying to groom dogs where I can hardly turn or bend..
So yeah, I'm waiting for Saturday afternoon!

Get thee to a chiropractor, pronto.

In the mean time, don't baby it. MOVE. Walking is probably the best, 10 minute walks. Keeps things from swelling. Also get an ice pack and a towel. Soak the towel in hot water, wring it out and wrap it around the ice pack. Apply to the area that hurts for 20 minutes every hour. Heat relaxes, cold reduces swelling and pain.

Well, I must say thanks for the encouraging words concerning my back.. I'm sorry this ended up as the topic as I didnt intend to hijack this TGIF thread..

The first dog of the day was a big ol GSD, but he's a good boy and gave me no troubles getting into and outta the tub.. (though I did the complimentary Shake). I just kept going and gave my back some exercise but didnt do anything to aggrivate it.. It's better now..

I have a christmas pressie from mother, 1 free Chiro meeting.. I just may redeem that and get an adjustment..

I had an adjustment once and could not believe how great it felt after..
The ONLY man I wanted to kiss.. LOL
