  • Nail Polish

Which brand of nail polish do you use? I just got some of the "new" stuff from pet edge and I don't like it. Goes on "watery" looking. Like there is not enough pigment in it. I got some from Sally's that gives much better coverage, it's called stripes, or something like that. Comes in a small little bottle with a long skinny brush.

At work, I'm not sure what we use, but I think that it is from petedge too. And it does go on kinda watery looking. On my two though I will usually use people nail polish, you know the kind that quick drys. It goes on much better, but it doesn't last as long.

          ?

We never used it at school.
Is there any problem with them chewing it off?

          Probably just a time thing.

Do you charge more for it?
I think it would be time consuming.

I like the Davis stuff the best. Nice coverage and seems to last long.

Definitely charge more for it! We charge more for it just like we do any other extra thing that we offer, such as teeth brushing, nail filing, etc.
Nail polish is time consuming, and some dogs aren't great for it. That being said we don't get a lot of requests for it, but I'm not complaining, lol I hate it

Hmm i never thought of nail filing as an extra.

I would love to get some fun colours, and I think I will run out to the pharmacy or Walmart to get some!
What are your more popular colours?

By far purple, pink, and red. It's also a good idea to have holiday colors, you know red and green for Christmas, etc.

I sure agree about the new Pet Edge polish. I ordered a bunch and it doesn't cover white nails let alone black. We used Dee Cee (I think that was the name) for years, it was awesome. Then I heard that one of the ingredients was banned by the government and I haven't been able to get good polish since! I've tried House of Pets & Groomstar's polish , it's gooey also. Would love to find a great polish again!
