I'm alive!!!!!!!!!

Hey all,
been awhile I know, but things just are funny like that. I have had lots of upgrades in my shop as of late.
I had all my shears and blades sharpened and dang, it's like having all new epuiptment....lol
I also bought my first pair of Geib's.......yup, hope these ones don't hit the floor, I'm thinking Velcro might need to be added to my hands and scissors......lol
Now this is my most exciting upgrade, today my new scissor lift cart arrived........a FRACTION of the price of buying an actual grooming table that performs this way, and all we have to do is add a table top(i got a spare anyways)..........it looks like for me the big dogs are here to stay, so I had to do it.........
My shop is SO slow right now, between being slow, no shows, and extremely poor road conditions, this month I call myself a "starving artist" not a "dog groomer"

Welcome back, Vicki, you've been missed here. I thought maybe you found a new "bad" boyfriend. I'm so glad you got the scissor cart-table. That is what I have and I love it, isn't it great?!!!!!

Don't worry, things will be picking up for you soon, I have no doubt. Maybe go through your files and call people whom you haven't seen in a while and tell them "This is Vicki at Yorkie's Kiss salon, and this is just a courtesy call---I haven't seen Fluffy for over 3 months now, and thought I'd call you while I had some openings," in a no-pressure sort of way.

Thanks all, I've sure missed picking your brains.

NO bad boyfriends for me anymore Tammy.........nope, not going there again.
My table top is being put on my lift cart AS I type this........I'm sooooo excited about this, and in the end, it really is not a huge investment for the benefits I'll receive from it..........the thing I like most is that it drops right to the floor, so no more dogs refusing to get up on the table.
My freshly sharpened equipt is wonderful, I didn't realize how bad they needed it.
My geibs are to die for.........I got a curved set........I do love them.
I do think I need to advertise again........which I'm going to make a couple calls tomorrow and get that ball rolling again.

Vicki, how long is your table top? I know it's too late now anyway, but mine is 42" long, and it's been perfect, EVEN FOR ST. BERNARDS!
