  • who were you rootin for?

Congratulations to James the English Springer....asbsolutely gorgeous.. Who were you all wanting to see get Best In Show? I am partial to Poodles so I was glad to see both the Standard and Toy make it to the group...but..the Standard was just breathtaking and was just groomed to the nines. The PBGV should of won just on attitude alone.

Why doesn't my clients dogs look anything like those guys..LOL

I guess I missed the dog show. When was it on? What channel was it on?

        Pbgv

I lo ved the expression on the pbgv when the air blew the fur back from face. should have won but , Dandie dinmont owned by bill cosby/Jean Heath I thought would win cuz of McFadden. Glad Springer won. Exceptional dog, and the groom...beautiful.How do they get fur so close on poodle rears? Throat nor as close.

I don't know if it shows on different stations, but here in SC it was showing on USA. If you look on the listings they will have reruns for a while. Yesterday I caught the end of Monday's half that I missed when I fell asleep. I hope to catch what I missed last night from when I fell asleep. Is it a sign of age that 9:00 is late??? lol... I did get to see James make the cut and he is georgous!!! Those judges don't have an easy time, it must be like trying to pick a favorite child! I was also partial to the English Setter, she (he?) was drop dead beautiful!! Darn, they were all drop dead beautiful!!!!

I was routin' for the Dandie Dinmont, but I told my husband the springer was going to win. (why I thought that I don't know). All 7 of those dogs were amazing in their own right, that's for sure.

That handler, Kelly something, always has great Springers but I thought the Akita was just breathtaking. It would be great if our clients dogs looked even remotely like the breed standard. Altho I do have a PWD thats a retired show dog, she's always fun to work on.

I was leaning toward the PBGV or the Dandie, myself. The final choice didn't surprise me, though. At least on my TV screen, that Springer is exquisite, and obviously the judge thought so too.

Well,of course I wanted the Dandie to win...we are despertly trying to up our numbers up and off the endangered breed list. I've already had a few clients call me to say how excited they were that he made it that far. They love to see my Dandies when they come it. Some have even brought friends to show them what one looks like! I did LOVE the PBGV though.

I was cheering for the Akita. I just groomed three (I'm still choking on the hair) on Monday and although I had done a few in the past these were just the sweetest, most loving dogs and were all retired show dogs.

                        I'm glad I wasn't the judge!

James was totally gorgeous, so I'm not surprised he won. I wanted the PBGV though, so much personality!! The Dandie wasn't as "on" last night as Monday. After his group win I thought he would be tough to beat for BIS. Also agree that the Akita was magnificent and I loved the Bouv, too. The poodles were beautiful, but I doubted either one would win because there were two in the finals. (just a psych thing, I think)

I was cheering on the PBGV. You just couldn't help but smile everytime you saw him...what a ham...and everything about him said show dog.

I was not disappointed however when James won. How perfect was he???

I’m a Dobie person, so I would have liked to see the Dobie make to the best in show group. Unfortunately I forgot it was on and missed the first night of competition. If I had to make my pick from the dogs that were selected, I was cheering for the Dandie.

I really wanted to see the Dandi win. Of course, it's tough to beat James when he's "on" and he did put on a show.

They are all awesome and deserving dogs.
