Well I never heard of this before, these people come up with all kinds of ways to groom a dog. Customer wanted her Schnauzer to have a coke bottle head look. Hum, almost had to have her draw me a picture on that one.
She wanted the eyebrows but shaved under the eyes & muzzle, about 2-3
inches down the face!!
Good grief, shorten the beard to 3 inches long, shaped a round look, I wish I had my camrea!! BUT it's want she wanted!!

We were just discussing this on an earlier topic about schnauzers. I call that a "figure 8 head" because it looks like a number 8. It isn't "proper," but neither is shaving down the nose and many groomers do that too---it's all in what the owners want.

I can top that

I had a woman come in with a mini poodle and told me "make the body look like a football". Wanted legs and neck and base of tail shorter and body scissored and tapered at the ends. Dog looked fairly ridiculous, but the owner loved it..

why was she planning on punting the poodle across the room? LOL! oh man...the things some people come up with! one lady goes oh i want schn. eyebrows like THIS. i know that its not right. IT WAS THE CORRECT WAY TO DO THE EYEBROWS! LOL! another lady has a poodle that she dosnt want to look like a girl...hm...okay...a football poodle, a coke bottle head schnauzer...
what are they gonna ask next? make him look like mickey mouse?

I was just looking through (on the internet) some of the old covers of Groomer to Groomer and they actually had a poodle groomed like a football!! It was so cute. Sorry I don't know the link.

We also had this CRAZY old lady with a heavy german accent that wanted her purebred white miniature poodle name "louie" - pronounced by her as "loouuiiee" to look like a german shepherd. I don't know about you, but I have never found a magic wand big enough for that!

Jadenlea - well I've never heard it called a coke bottle head but have done a few schnauzers with the look described. I just scoop out between they eyes and under the eyes half way down the muzzle with #10 and take the beard and moustache to just behind the corners of the mouth and make a sort of donut moustache. Not my favorite Schnauzer look either it makes their face look super skinny. Is that what makes the Coke bottle shape? The skinny cheeks that stick out?
