  • Toby, the TV watcher

I was watching one of the old "Charmed" series this morning, waiting to go to work. Toby was sleeping on the top of my couch. In the show their was a big Rottie, somehow (witch craft probably) this dog got into the Charmed ones home and was standing at the staircase. One of the sisters come in and this big Rottie starts barking. Toby wakes up, jumps off the couch and runs over to the TV and starts barking at the dog!!!! I just cracked up. He was so funny. He knew right where that dog was, in the TV!

All walked totlally on two legs w/ clothes on,wigs even used knife and fork in prison scene. Cops and robbers, jungle scene vey funny ,foreign legion. Car driving male chauvinist bosss...funny skits. I recorded it...my mother caught it too. LOL Big time. Everyone loved it.. Wish I coud find out from Movie classics where I could get one...Never seen anythnig like it. Chorus line. police line up...you all would die laughing!~!!!Husband ,wife and baby who in real life could not be child of such a couple. Wigs..cigars. pugs hats Funny stuff.Announcer said dogs reeely were walking on hind legs..chewing to look like talking..No humans...all dogs.

LOL, the dobie we used to have would run around and around our tv, sniffing trying to find the dog on the other side, LOL!! It was soooo funny. We would try to find dogs on tv to "show" him. I know it was mean, but hey, we'd do anything to get the dog to burn some energy back then, lol!!! They are too funny!!

My cat looooves the news...why? Because they have the little bar at the bottom scrolling with info. He'll get up and paw at it, he also likes the cursor on my computer.

That's a great idea Pampered. I met a woman who owned a pet boarding business who played pet videos for the boarders and they actually would lay on their beds and watch them. Too cute!

              Diane, that is cute.

That story reminds me of the veterinarian that gave Spike to me. Spike had been at his hospital (kenneled) for about a year before I adopted him. Spike knew the vets voice, I think the vet talked to him a lot when he walked in and out of the room Spike was kenneled in.

Anyway, a year or so after "adopting" Spike, this Korean vet was on TV (he's famous in Korea). Spike, apparently recognizing the vet's voice on the TV, looked up from his bed, got up, walked up to the TV, walked around one side of it, then walked around the other side of it, looking for the vet.

It was too funny. When I went to get Spike some vaccinations, I told the vet about it, and he got a kick out of it.

                Cute story Tammy.
Years ago we gave my mother-in-law a chi pup. The pup had stayed with us for almost a month before we were able to deliver her to hubby's parents. A year later we came to visit and that little dog still remember us. However the next visit she wouldn't have anything to do with us! lol

When I had cable,my Siamese X used to come running for the TV everytime he heard the theme music for "Young and the Restless". I really don't care for soaps, but we'd leave it on for Bart to watch. It was the only show he cared about, lol.

My heeler/catahoula mix, Zak, will watch The Dog Whisperer from start to finish...He will get a little bored if they show people for too long, but if there are dogs on the tv, he's watching their every move....He will actually lay down, cross his front legs and watch the show...It's very cute, keeps him entertained...
