I went out on a call this morning got directions. She said she was close to Panama ln. went out there spent 40 min looking for it called her up and ask just how close she was to panama ln. her reply was OH did I say panamaLn. I meant Panorama now thats 25 miles from panama ln.well it dosen't get better from there .found her street 30 minutes later she lives in an apartment complex told me to pull in straight in park on the left there is no parking lot straight ahead her her street is a circle so I went around it a couple of times.Called her again Exactly where are you I asked nicely she told me to stay put right where I am she'll come out to me a 30 minutes later no lady so I called again no answer went half way around it again then left.Iwas in heavy traffic had my adult daughter on the phone and ask her to please call her let het know I couldn't wait any longer. My daughter calls be back and said mom that lady was alzheimers had no idea what mobile grooming was or that I was coming out Then my daughter told her she had a 10 clock appointment to get her dog a hair cut oh yeah tell her next time she's doing dogs this way her to call me up and she can cut my little dogs hair.well 2 hours later and a half a tank of gas I'm seting at home and guess what a guy saw my van during my wild goose chase and wants me to do his little benji dog next week.I love doing little wire haired terriers mixes so it wasn't a complete bust.

Sorry you had such a run a round. At least you did get a new client out it if, hopefully you'll remember where he lived. hehe

Wow. At least your experience turned out in a positive way, by gaining a new client! I would look at that experience as being well worth it when you add up all the future income that you will be making from your new client.

Terrier Mixes are so much fun!

I LOVE Terrier mixes too! Every time I get a scruffy little dog, I love making them go from scruffy to fluffy and cute. I love scissoring them and making them so nice and trim but still the terrier expression. People love it too!

Oops, sorry about the run-around. Everything happens for a reason though. You were obviously meant to get a new client.

                  LOL,

Wonder if she lives alone. It is sad for them but they need assistance and shouldn't be able to make appointments and such for things. I have a few of them and I feel bad but they drive me totally crazy. Some I wonder how they even take care of the pet (the ones who live alone). The one lady told me she wasn't allowed to drive and would have to have her mother bring her for the dogs appointment. Well she did but a week later she called me and asked me to look outside and see if the traffic is bad, she was coming up to buy her dog a sweater. Well our shop is on a busy street and I explained that. 15 minutes later here she comes pulling in (driving) and comes in all nervous. She doesn't like driving over bridges! I was nervous about her going home and hitting someone or wrecking herself.

I'm happy for you that you got a new client. At least it wasn't a total waste. I feel bad for that lady. My husbands grandmother has alzheimers. Its so sad. She has to live in a home and I feel so bad because basically she's not living, just existing from day to day. So sad...but hopefully your new customer will turn out nice.
