A no show!!!!

I guess I could have called and asked her why isn't she here yet but if I did that I wouldn't be able to get on here!!! She'll probably call me in a day or two and ask me if she missed her appointment or when is she due, lost her reminder slip.
I have another dog coming in, in about an hour. Gives me time to check out what is happening here.

I had my last two cancel (same family) an hour before their appointment, and I cried all the way home.

Seriously, I haven't had a puppy in 20 years, and I forgot how much work they are. Just when I think I've finished puppy proofing the house, he shows me how wrong I am. I'm worn out.

I had somebody come late today and 1hr late for p/u. Same dog. Even when you give reminders some people just don't get it.

Usually, I will call them within 15 minutes if they aren't here... (I live in a small town... everyone is minutes away!) There is just some days, when you don't care and enjoy having that time to yourself!! (I find it is a pain rescheduling and fitting them in tho!)

I call within 15 minutes if someone is running late...

...but I don't think I could put it off until they call a few days late asking if they had an appointment! LOL


Oh well, some days you just need a break! Enjoy!

Hell one just showed up today not on the schedule , I haven't spoke to the owner since the last time, not a reg. haven't seen the poor matted thing in months. He seemed to believe he had an appt. just kinda went with it, We are not real busy ... And it just figures this is one heck of a biter Llhasa and then the owner didn't show up for hours, at least the lady I work with lives above the shop.

I was almost done today, and in walks my "no show" full coat bichon, but I then remembered that she does come in late sometimes and I OK'd that. and on his paper it said will be here at 12..... so 3 hours later I was leaving.lol oh well I am absent minded somtimes.

No I didn't mind have a little time to myself and the computer. I'm not real busy so when she calls I'll be able to fit her in with no problem.
I could have called her, she is a reg but I just was lazy I guess. Then my last dog showed up 30 min late and was picked up 1 hr late! lol :crazy:B

I had a funny no show today. New pair of dogs. They were supposed to show up between 8:30 and 10:30. Then at about 2:30 a woman calls and asks how her two dogs (the no-shows) are doing. I told her that they never showed up. She was shocked. Apparently she assigned the task of dropping off the dogs to her husband. She said her husband was playing golf so she couldn't call him to find out where her dogs were. She was very confused and embarassed. I'm very curious to find out where the husband took the dogs.

Dawn, I sure hope she found her dogs! Really it is kinda funny , at least on this end.

Maybe they are still at home waiting to be groomed! hehehe

I called my no show this evening and asked what had happened. She was embarassed, didn't think it was this week. She is coming in tomorrow. It is an easy groom, a teddy bear cut, #4 a/o.

I have had something similar happen to me a while back. The dog was scheduled to come here but was a No Show. Then later in the day the woman called to see if her dog was ready. I told her the dog wasn't here, her relative dropped the dog off at another grooming shop!
