"Some people are like a slinky... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs."

    That is really funny

So what all is in it?What comes in the box? If Stephen does not mind me asking.

Well, I can tell you what they tell you is in the box ... there's a CD with all the resources for business plans and marketing info (haven't gotten to the CD yet, still have some work to do, hee hee) and a HUGE book that gives printed examples and more info!! But it's got numbers and examples and things you'd forget to include in a business plan ... most importantly ... it's filled with hope, potential and excitement!

(Stephen note: To be clear for everybody you have the first book with CD, Pet Grooming Business Plan Helper & Sampler. It is a bench mark for the industry, and in the next 3 months 4 more books, each with bonus CD's will be released too as explained at the web site. Good luck on your plan, take your time, most everyone has found following the 150 pages of instructions get them through it just fine).

Wow, did someone buy that for you, or was it a gift to yourself? Someone thought well of you to get that for you. How many hints did you have to drop? I dropped a few but, alas, I don't have it. Maybe for my birthday?

Thanks Stephen, what's 150 more pages of instruction to reach a dream, right? tee hee.

STEPHEN NOTE: You begin to see why many professional plan writers charge $5000 today, and they don't even know the industry. It is far best to use this product and just get some extra help with what you cannot do. No one ever wastes their time creating a true plan and they can save you thousands in mistakes and often kickstart a better venture. Good luck.

It was a Christmas present and the hints went along the lines of "honey, what do you want? This. Ok, but what else? This. What do you REALLY want? This. Ok, ok ... how can I get this for you? Here's the link. Hmmm, here's the money, I can't figure out the link. and then ... honey, but what do you want for YOU? This. This is for me. Tee hee hee hee hee ....

Now that I have picked myself up off the floor after falling out of my chair laughing at the slinky thing It is always smart to have a business plan. I wish I had something like that 20something years ago

What a good gift giver, by that I mean just handing the money over. My husband is like that when I want something he thinks is to business like and not fun. I once wanted a laminator for my birthday. I am glad to say that I am the proud owner or a great laminator.

I am so jealous that your have the grooming business in a box. Lucky you. Enjoy for all of us as we lust after the box.

P.S. Doug that was a great quote, my dark sense of humor will be happy all day.

yeah, i'm sure he wouldn't, ha ha ha.
I've seen that done in other industries and at the end of the day, I love this industry for so many reasons ... people are really supportive and not as competitive (not that that doesn't exist) but there's just a lot of personal and professional respect here.

(and I used to write business plans for people ... didn't charge that much, but ... it's funny, I know enough to know that I don't know enough of this industry!!)

Maybe the people on these boards aren't competative, but in the industry in your area, they probably are!
