I still have my records in a spreadsheet and we had 212 pet owners through our business at least once the first year. 29 used our services 3 times in the first year, 47 used our services 4 times in the first year 59 used our services 5 times the first year and 89 used our services 6 or more times the first year. So we had pretty good returning customers. So we easily had the estimate here of 100 to 150 regulars at end of first year, good goal.

I am about 6 months into my new shop on my property, still want to go mobile too part time, doing both. I have 77 regulars meaning that they are scheduling ahead or have come back at least once for another appointment. So maybe I will have my goal of 150 by the end of the first year. January was a little slow but February filling up, I think that is normal I was so busy in December. I enjoy reading this board every morning with coffee before the first groom arrives. Thank you for your help and comments.

I am still in my first year of my second location. 111 customers of my original location now go to the new location and so the costs are being covered. We 119 new customers at the second location that have had at least 2 appointments. Until they come in a 2nd time I really don't count them seriously. This is keeping a bather and groomer fairly busy. But each month it is growing.

Do you keep count with your software or by hand?

Well we finished the business plan, got a loan opened in January. Now about 4 months later I have had 129 different pet parents use my services and 90 have come in twice. So I think we are doing pretty darn good. I am so glad I did a plan and learned how to budget and set goals.

You are doing great, not pretty good.

I am shooting for 300, I know it is higher than average, but the referrals are pouring in. That's the difference otherwise I would say half that.
